What's My Shape? Center Application (Prek-K)

Selected Blueprint for Early Literacy® center and small group learning applications are available for individual purchase.  Applications are book-related literacy and math activities for focused, small group and independent learning.  Applications are carefully designed to engage children’s desire to play while moving them toward grade-level goals.  Each includes activities to extend skills and create original work by drawing and/or writing.

Objective:
Math - Identifying Shapes

Description:
This math application, inspired by the book, has 4 picture cards and 16 shape cards. Each picture card illustration consists of common shapes. Children match the shape cards to shapes they identify in the picture cards. (20 cards total)

Multi-leveling Features:
Children can begin by matching shape to shape on the back of the card or find the shapes in the picture card.

Self-Check:
Children can check their work by looking at the shapes on the back of the picture card.
