Project Supervisor

Summary
Under direction of Project Manager, coordinate all aspects of CLI projects from implementation planning to timely completion of scope of services in client contracts. Establish project management timelines, milestones and deadlines to ensure timely execution of projects. Supervise 3 members of the Projects Team. Coordinate activities of project implementation team members to realize fulfillment of scope of service on time and within budget. Interface with clients in resolving problems. Report to management status of projects and deviations from schedule or budget. Participate in project planning/problem solving meetings. Ensure timely delivery of CLI literacy materials. Update and enter data into Project Database on timely basis, and maintain project files and supporting documentation. Respond to requests from management on projects’ status. Perform special projects as needed.

Education Required
Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in business courses or equivalent experience required.

Training & Experience
Demonstrated successful experience planning and managing the implementation of large and small multiple projects simultaneously. Experience as effective team leader. Prior supervisory experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills with working knowledge of Project Management software methodologies and processes and Microsoft Access. Ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task, and be flexible and adaptable to new approaches. Excellent communications/interpersonal skills to collaboratively interface and elicit cooperation from CLI staff and clients. Ability to travel to client and meeting sites.

HOURS/COMPENSATION
This is a full-time 12-month benefits eligible position based in Philadelphia.

LOCATION
Children's Literacy Intiative is located in Center City Philadelphia, accessible by public transportation.
